The accused who pelted stones during the Ram Navami riots in the city has been sentenced to one year in jail. Collector Shivraj Singh Verma has issued orders to transfer Kallu’s father Yasir, alias Ibrahim from Anjuman Nagar, to Badar district for a year as per the AC report.

Yasir is used to commit crimes like attacking common people with sharp weapons, abusing public places, killing, attempting to murder by being active in criminal activities.

On Yasir himself, the crime of pelting stones along with his colleagues at Talab Chowk during the Ramnavami procession on April 10, 2022 is also recorded. A total of 7 criminal cases have been registered against Yasir at Khargone Police Station since 2015. Yasir who was involved in criminal activities has been banned for one year by Collector Verma.

During this period Yasir will not enter the revenue limits of Khargone district and the revenue limits of nearby Dhar, Indore, Dewas, Khandwa, Barwani and Burhanpur. Do not enter with the prior permission of the courts, otherwise the Member of Parliament will be subject to punishment under the State Security Act.
