Nagpur. At Gittikhadan police station, an old shopkeeper molested a 12-year-old girl who lived in the premises. The police registered a case against the dear family of the victim girl and arrested Dnyaneshwar Jagoba Dhamankar (64), a resident of Aakarnagar.

Dnyaneshwar runs Mahi Kirana Store in Bhiwankhori Basti. At around 2 pm on Saturday, Dnyaneshwar called the girl into his shop on the pretext of giving her chocolates. When he saw him alone, he started behaving obscenely. The girl ran from there and went home and informed her mother about the incident. The mother notified the police. Police arrested Dnyaneshwar after registering a case under sections of molestation and POCSO Act.
