Hamirpur (HP), Mar 15 (PTI) Jitendra Kanwar, former secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC), was questioned for several hours on Wednesday by Vigilance Bureau officials over alleged irregularities in recruitment exams. The officers provided this information.

The government had dissolved the HPSSC after the Junior Office Assistant (IT) question paper was leaked and an investigation into the matter revealed irregularities in the recruitment tests conducted by the commission over the years.

Officials told PTI that Kanwar could be taken into custody and produced before the court on Thursday for police custody.
