Gadchiroli, For the last one-and-a-half years, the fear of cannibal tigers continues in Gadchiroli and Warsaw Forest Department. Especially the cannibalistic tiger has killed more than two dozen people in these areas so far. Meanwhile, on Thursday evening, a tiger has killed a shepherd who had gone to graze cattle in the forest of Jepra village, located 12 km from the district headquarters of Gadchiroli.
This incident has once again created panic of tiger in this area. The name of the deceased person is Namdev Ramji Gedam (65). Here, even after the continuation of the killing of people by the cannibal tiger, there is a strong displeasure among the people towards the forest department due to the forest department not getting success in catching the cannibal tiger.
Two shepherds returned to the village after fleeing
It is being told that two other shepherds including the deceased Namdev Gedam had gone to graze cattle in the forest. In the evening, suddenly he saw a tiger in the forest. Due to which he came out of the forest towards the road. But Namdev Gedam was left behind. After a long time, suddenly a herd of cattle was seen running. Due to which Namdev’s associates called him. But there was no response from Namdev. Due to which two people related to the village reached the village. And suspected Namdev of being attacked by a tiger.

Villagers informed the forest department officials about the incident after two associates of the deceased Namdev Gedam reached the village and raised suspicion that Namdev was attacked by a tiger. After which the team of rural forest officers started searching in the forest together. After searching for about 3 hours, the body of Namdev was found. Forest officials did a panchnama of the incident. This incident has once again created panic of the cannibal tiger in the premises.
