The government has raised the price of petroleum products, TV channel 24NewsHD reported.
According to a notification, the prices of petrol, high speed diesel (HSD) and kerosene have increased by Rs5, Rs13 and Rs2.56 per liter respectively.

“In the last two weeks, prices on Platts Singapore have risen. This along with depreciation of Pak Rupee has led to increase in POL (oil, petroleum and lubricants) products in Pakistan,” the finance department announced.

The cost of low-speed diesel has remained unchanged, it said, adding that the new price of HSD is Rs 293 per litre.

The new price of petrol is Rs 272 per liter and the price of kerosene is Rs 190.29 per litre.
