Bengaluru: Eight years ago, a sister first killed her brother, then cut the body into pieces and dumped it in different places after stuffing it in a bag. The police were involved in the investigation of this case and the criminal sister was avoiding the police. Now the police have solved that murder mystery by arresting the guilty sister and her partner. The case is of Jigani in South Bengaluru, where a sensation spread in the area 8 years ago after the body parts were found.
Bhagyashree has been identified as her sister’s culprit while her lover’s son is being told. According to the police, Bhagyashree had killed her brother Lingaraju Siddappa, stuffed his body parts in a bag and dumped them in three different places, including the water. This murder came to light when the eyes of the locals fell on the body. Later, the police started investigating the case, but they could not find the body’s head.

Police said that both Bhagyashree and Shivputra were friends since their college days in Vijayapura, but they moved to Bangalore in 2015 due to family problems. He lived in a rented house near Jigani and worked in the Jigani industrial area there. Later, when his brother Lingaraju Jigani went to his apartment, he was surprised to see his sister’s affair and objected to their affair. According to the police, a fight broke out between the two brothers. Shivputra also jumped into the fray and then Bhagyashree along with him killed his own brother.
Both the lovers lived in Maharashtra and hid their identities
To hide the body, both lovers cut the body into pieces and stuffed it in different bags. A bag with the body’s hand was found near a butcher shop in the area. At the same time, the other body was thrown into the nearby water and the head of the body was not found. Now Karnataka Police said that based on information both (lovers) have been arrested in Nashik, Maharashtra. For many years both lived here, hiding their identities. The police have arrested both of them and shifted them to Bengaluru where further action will be taken.
