Pakistan Railways (PR) has announced the summer schedule, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
The timings of various vehicles have been changed and the revised timetable will be effective from April 15.
Hazara Express leaves Karachi at 7:35 AM instead of 7:00 AM, Pakistan Express leaves Karachi Cantt at 2:00 PM instead of 1:30 PM and Millat Express leaves Karachi Cantt at 5:30 PM instead of 5:00 PM.
Tezgam will depart from Karachi Cantt at 6:00 PM instead of 5:30 PM and Allama Iqbal Express will depart from Karachi Cantt at 6:30 PM instead of 3:30 PM.
All remaining vehicles will continue to run according to the previous schedule
Pakistan Railways has reportedly allocated around Rs 2 million more funds to complete the renovation and construction of platform at Shaddadpur railway station, which is to be spent in the current financial year.
“Operating with three platforms, Shaddadpur railway station is one of the important stations located on the main line where most of the mail and express trains are halted,” a railway ministry official told APP here on Wednesday.
