Dehradun (Deshraj Pal). Women Empowerment Child Development Department has released Anganwadi Supervisor provisional promotion list. More than five and a half thousand Anganwadi workers had applied for a total of 155 posts. The Women Empowerment Child Development Department had started the selection process in November 2021 with the promotion of the department for the vacant posts of supervisor. A total of over five and a half thousand Anganwadi workers had applied for this. Initially, the number of vacancies was 105, but the department has sought objections within 10 days, including the posts of officers to be vacated by June 30 of the current election year, and now publishes the provisional list of a total of 155 selected Anganwadi workers. Apart from that, five positions have been kept vacant due to the ongoing court case. To avoid controversy, the department has also made public the action taken on all the objections and released the objections of the Anganwadi worker who filed the objections earlier. Along with this, by publishing the names, category and cut off of the selected candidates, they have been asked to file objections on the merits within ten days. In Uttarakhand, most recently in 2012, there were promotions from Anganwadi workers to the posts of officers, due to the Anganwadi workers demanding promotion for a long time. Earlier, a delegation led by Anganwadi workers Sampati Tripathi and Vimla Joshi met the CM and demanded the release of the promotion list. As CM Pushkar Dhami had asked secretary to publish the list immediately.
