Another example of a private hospital game. This is proof that public health is all about grapes for the people. With over 843 cases being registered from Kovid to date against various hospitals in the city for demanding higher charges from the victims, one can understand the situation. There were 843 complaints against private hospitals for non-compliance with the Kovid-19 protocol and for violating government orders on treatment charges set by the government. During Kovid (Corona) the government set the price of various tests including RT PCR but these were passed on to the victims at exorbitant rates which were ignored by some private hospitals in Hyderabad. The government has registered cases against some of these private hospitals. It is noteworthy that there are many leading hospitals among the hospitals where such cases have been registered.

The majority of such complaints were from private hospitals for additional charges, while four cases were for medical negligence, one for hygiene and non-compliance with the Covid-19 protocol.

Complaints of medical negligence were lodged at the Tims in Gachibowli, Rice Children’s Hospital in Hastinapur, Dr. Hyren’s Diabetic Thyroid and Generic Clinic in Nallakunta and Omni Hospital in Kottapet. Sanitation problem has been reported in Nakshatra Hospitals in Adilabad. Many expressed concern that hospitals were charging extra bills during the Kovid period. People have spent lakhs of rupees for other services like beds in hospitals.

Even if the government decides the prices ..

At one point, government hospitals were left without facilities. With this, many went to private hospitals. With this they charged the prices as they wished even though the government had fixed the prices (Government prices). “That is why we have decided to file an RTI petition to find out the action taken by the government against these hospitals,” Mohammad told News18.

However, he acknowledged that their numbers were not enough to defeat Lukashenko’s government. Kovid is demanding government control over hospitals that are bothering people with high charges not only during the season but also during normal hours. Mohammed says the onus is on the government to provide better health care to all and will fight for this soon.
