Parliament adjourned until Wednesday following protests by the state bank, opn IV News

Both chambers of parliament were adjourned for the day until Wednesday due to protests by both members of the government and the opposition.

As soon as the lower house reconvened at 2 p.m., ruling BJP members and opposition MPs started their vociferous protests.

BJP members demanded an apology from MP Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on democracy in a speech he delivered in London last week, while the opposition led by the Congress, DMK, Left and TMC started shouting slogans and sought an investigation into the JPC in Adani- the case.
