New Delhi: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat surprised everyone by visiting a mosque and madrassa yesterday. He met Umeer Ilyasi, head of the All India Mom Organization, at the mosque on Kasturba Gandhi Marg in Delhi and then also visited Madrasa Tajweed Al-Qur’an in Azadpur. BSP chief Mayawati mockingly asked bitter questions to BJP on this meeting.

Mayawati has ridiculed RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s meeting with Maulana Umeer Ilyasi. He asked, “After Mohan Bhagat’s incident in Delhi, he went to mosques and madrassas and met scholars and then called himself ‘Rashtar Pita’ and ‘Rashtar Rishi’, what did the BJP and his Will there be a change in the negative mentality of the governments towards the Muslim community and their madrasahs and mosques?

He further said, “The UP government is not able to bear the compulsion of offering prayers alone for a few minutes in an open place and is willing to interfere in private madrasas while ignoring government madrasas, but the RSS chief Let them also consider what the meaning of profound silence is coming out in this matter.

It should be noted that after the meeting with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, the head of All India Imam Organization, Umir Ahmed Ilyasi, while talking to some media organizations, said, “Our DNA is the same, only the way of worship is different.” In another statement, he termed Mohan Bhagwat as ‘Rashtar Pata’ and ‘Rashtar Rishi’ and said that he is spreading the message of Hindu-Muslim unity and brotherhood.
