Anekal: It has been raining incessantly for the past several days in Anekal, which is famous for millet, which has been facing drought for many years. As a result the lakes are overflowing. Farmers, who should have been happy if there was good rain, are cursing the incessant rain. In addition, the farmers have expressed their anger against the Tehsildar who did not carry out on-the-spot inspection of the fields which were flooded due to the incessant rain and damaged crops.

Bridge collapse in Ramnagar taluk
