It is pertinent to mention that the police and PTI workers are at loggerheads as a heavy contingent of police has reached Zaman Park to arrest former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case.
A team of Islamabad police has been in Lahore since yesterday to comply with court orders to arrest PTI chairman Imran Khan – who is facing a number of cases in different cities.
Police are using batons and water cannons to disperse party workers as they continue their quest to arrest Khan.
As of this report, the police have virtually sealed off all areas leading to Zaman Park, where the PTI chairman lives, party workers in large groups carrying clubs are there to prevent the arrest of their leader.
