Light to moderate rains for another three days IV News

Hyderabad: Rains are falling across the state under the influence of a low pressure trough. In this order, the Meteorological Department has announced Orange Alert in the state today. It said that there is a chance of the extreme low pressure turning into a cyclone. The weather officers said that the northern districts will receive the heaviest rains. They said that there is a chance of heavy to very heavy rains during the night. On the other hand, there is a chance of light to moderate rains in the state for three days.

Musuru from morning in Hyderabad…

It has been raining in Hyderabad since morning. It has been raining since dawn. Due to this, motorists are facing serious problems. Moderate rain is falling in Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Malak Pate, LB Nagar, Kothi etc. GHMC has been on alert with warnings of heavy rains in the city for two days. Commissioner Lokesh Kumar ordered all levels of officers in the greater jurisdiction to be vigilant. The Monsoon Emergency Teams should be alert and cleared immediately where the water has stopped on the roads. He ordered to take proper precautions so that people do not go to Nala’s surroundings.

Rivers and bends are overflowing in the districts…

The streams and bends are overflowing with the rains in the districts. In some villages traffic was stopped due to raging rivers. Heavy rains are falling in Komrambhim Asifabad, Khammam and Mahbubnagar districts. It is raining incessantly in many districts. Due to the heavy rains, the ponds are overflowing. Heavy rainfall has been recorded in the state since the 7th of last month. Meteorological department officials say that it has never rained at this level in 40 years. The rivers are overflowing with the flood coming from above. Officials have advised the people of the low-lying areas to be alert as there will be rains for another 3 days.

Rainfall recorded across the state…

Wankidi in Komrambhim district recorded the highest rainfall of 7.3 cm. 6.5 cm rain in Sirpur, 5.5 cm in Utnoor in Adilabad and 5.3 cm in Medchal Malkazgiri district. 5.2 in Manchiryal and 5.1 cm in Sirikonda of Adilabad district. 10 mm of rain fell in Rajendranagar under GHMC. 9 mm of rain was recorded in Kutbullapur, 8.5 mm in Capra and 7.8 mm in Alwal.
