According to the information received, near Heti village on the Savner-Betul highway, people nearby feared the death of an animal due to the stench in a place adjacent to the canal, next to the highway. Farmers were passing by on Saturday morning when they saw the dead body of a leopard. He informed Hati police officer Patil Gaharwar about this and immediately informed the forest department after reaching the spot. This news spread like wildfire throughout the area and people started gathering to see the dead body of the leopard.
The farmer is worried about the increased terror of wild animals in the area because wild animals also cause damage to the crops. In such circumstances, there are various speculations about the death of the leopard. The body of the leopard was taken to the Savner Animal Hospital for post-mortem with the help of social worker Hitesh Bansod. After getting the information, a team of officials from Nagpur reached Savner Hospital. The exact cause of the leopard’s death will not be known until after the post-mortem report.
