Kharge e-mails it: Leaders of 16 opposition parties, including the Congress, marched towards the ED headquarters on Wednesday demanding an inquiry into the allegations against the Adani Group.

New Delhi: the leader of the assembly Mallikarjun Kharge today i.e. on Wednesday Enforcement agency Sent letter to (ED). As leaders of 16 opposition parties demanded immediate action over allegations of fraud against the Adani group after they were barred from personally appearing before the federal agency. The police deployed additional forces and set up barricades from the Parliament House to the ED office to stop the march to the leaders. Section 144 was imposed near the campus, which prohibits gathering of more than four people.
Meanwhile, as soon as the session began, another clash broke out between the Congress and Rahul. The BJP once again demanded an apology for Gandhi’s speech in London. All opposition parties, including the Congress, created a ruckus and demanded a JPC probe into the Adani-Hindenburg report.

- Congress leader Kharge, who is leading the march, said that the government does not want the opposition to demand a probe into the Adani case, so the police did not allow us to go to the ED office. Let the opposition party leaders meet Kharge in his office to discuss coordination of their policies on this issue.
- The opposition attacked the government over threats to Adani group SBI and LIC and demanded a parliamentary committee inquiry against it.

- Before the session began, Congress Speaker Kharge held a meeting with 16 opposition parties in the Assembly Hall at around 10:30 am. All parties have agreed to put pressure on the government by demanding that the JPC investigate the Hindenburg-Adani report.
