Kenyan athlete Eliud Kipchuge has expressed his desire to run with former US President Barack Obama.
According to a foreign news agency, while holding a press conference in Berlin, Eliot was asked with whom he wanted to take part in the morning race.
To this he replied that he wants to run in Kenya with Barack Obama. He said that he would invite Obama to visit Kenya.
The world-renowned athlete added that Obama has an inspiring personality, an example of unity, which is the best kind of human nature.
Eliud said he believes that when people run together, they are more united and where there is unity, there is peace. He further said that only by running we can connect together.
On Sunday, Eliud will participate in the Berlin Marathon. In 2018, he set a world record by completing the Berlin Marathon in 2 hours, 1 minute and 39 seconds.
