The startling claim is made in a new book, ‘Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family’, in which author Tom Quinn reveals some interesting facts about the royal wedding. Discussing this practice, the author writes, “They are always done to ensure that the queen-to-be can give birth to children.
