The police arrested the accused involved in the killing of a civilian along with weapons from Karachi’s Shah Latif area. The search for the fugitive partner of the arrested accused is ongoing.
According to the police, accused Mushtaq, alias Mota, along with his accomplice had killed Mehboob Alam, the murder incident took place on February 18.
The accomplice of the accused who participated in the murder has been identified as Abdul Ghani alias Gandagir, the accomplice of the accused is absconding since the incident and a search is on.
Police say that the accused had a personal enmity with deceased Mehboob Alam.
An investigation has been started to recover the mobile phone of the deceased, weapons and other items from the possession of the arrested accused.
