Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, the actor reacted to all the noise surrounding her comments for Deepika. She mentioned how it is wrong to give credit to undeserving people but it is a bigger issue when deserving people are not praised. Kangana mentioned that while ‘Bollywoodias’ may be doing it, she follows Krishna’s values. Asking people not to think too much, she wrote, “All those who are shocked that I praised DP, don’t think too much, I am a very simple person I just follow Krishna/Dharma and he says kisi ko undeserved credit dena anachar hai lekin kisi ko deserve credit na dena usse bada anachar/paap hai, Bollywoodias may have failed but I haven’t.

Deepika Padukone took to the Oscars stage to present Naatu Naatu, which led to a live performance of the RRR song. Her gorgeous looks, infectious smile and her pride while talking about the film and the song left many awestruck. Kangana also praised her by writing, “How beautiful @deepikapadukone looks, not easy to stand there and hold the whole nation together, carry her image, reputation on those fragile shoulders and speak so gracefully and confidently. Deepika stands tall as a testimony to the fact that Indian women are the best”
