On the other hand, the disappearance of a young woman three months after her marriage in Kamareddy district of Telangana is causing a stir. The bride has been missing for three months now. The incident took place at Madhura Nagar Colony in Devunipally, the district headquarters of Kamareddy.
Full details చల్ల Challa Dattu, a resident of Madhuranagar Colony, was married to Yamuna of Thadwai on February 16. For three months their turf went smoothly. But, in the meanwhile, quarrels started between the couple for a few days. It was during this sequence that Yamuna went to her adoptive parents on May 13 and told the relatives living next door that she was going to her mother Garanti. The husband was worried about the adoption as he did not return home. No matter how many searches were made at the home of relatives and friends, the whereabouts could not be ascertained. Yamuna was searched in many places but could not be located. Dattu lodged a complaint at the Devunipalli police station. Police have registered a case and are investigating the adoption complaint. Asked by police for an explanation on Yamuna’s disappearance, SI Prasad said the case was being registered and investigated as per the husband’s adoption complaint.
