Lahore: The Islamabad police will go to Zaman Park in the next 24 hours to execute the arrest warrant of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan.
According to details, two courts in Islamabad have issued two non-bailable arrest warrants against Imran Khan for threatening the female judge and failing to appear in the Tosha Khan case.
According to sources, when the Islamabad police team reached Lahore, Imran Khan was taking a rally from Zaman Park to Data Darbar, but before reaching Data Darbar, he returned after giving a short speech in the bulletproof vehicle.
During Imran Khan’s meeting, the Islamabad police held a meeting with the Lahore police to decide the strategy which ended after a few hours.
Sources say that it was decided in the meeting that the police force coming from Islamabad will be given full support and the Islamabad police force will be given access to Imran Khan’s residence.
According to sources, Islamabad Police will go to Zaman Park in the next 24 hours to execute the arrest warrant of Imran Khan and before that they will also contact Chief Security Officer of Imran Khan.
