Palghar Lok Sabha Constituency has been included in this and Union Minister Bishweshwar Tudu has been appointed to look after the neglected elements in this area.

Lok Sabha Ward Scheme will be implemented to reach the beneficiaries of the scheme at the Centre, under which 21 different programs will be undertaken. In the next 18 months, the district coordinator of this scheme will be staying in the district at regular intervals and meeting the congregations in the cultural, social and economically weaker sections and taking stock of the problems faced by the society and focusing on the problems in the district. The pending schemes and backlog issues from the Center will be handled by the Union Minister and Ravindra Chavan, who is in charge of the Konkan division.

After the establishment of Palghar district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took responsibility for the development of the district in the campaign meeting of the assembly elections held at the end of 2014. However, after the journalists pointed out to the present BJP leaders that many aspects of development in the district have been neglected, they refrained from commenting on it. It was said that in 16 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state, elements of BJP along with NDA will actively participate in this scheme.
