New Delhi: The rains in the national capital Delhi for the past several days continued on Friday. Due to which many areas were flooded and normal life was disrupted. On the one hand, where people are worried due to water inundation, the speed of vehicles slowed down in the midst of traffic jams on the roads as well.

According to the Delhi Traffic Police, water filling stations at Hanuman Mandir Carriageway, Libuspur Underpass, Maharani Bagh-Timur Nagar Cut, CDR Chowk, Mehroli to Gurgaon, Andheria Mor to Vasant Kunj, under Nizamuddin Bridge and near Singho Border Petrol Pump. Notification has been received. Police have advised travelers to avoid going to these areas.

The capital remained cloudy on Friday and light rain continued in all areas. Meanwhile, IndiGo Airlines has advised its passengers to leave home early while traveling to Delhi airport as several parts of the city are reported to be inundated. In Gurgaon and Noida too, the administration has issued guidelines in view of the weather conditions.

The Gurgaon administration has issued guidelines for private institutions and corporate offices to ask their employees to work from home to avoid traffic congestion on the roads. Meanwhile, all government and private schools up to Class VIII in Noida have been ordered closed as many roads in the city have been inundated due to incessant rains.
