Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan wants to spread anarchy, civil war and unrest in the country.
In a video statement on Wednesday, she said that Imran Khan was hiding from the police to evade arrest and had used women, children and teenagers as his shield.
She said that Imran Khan is politically dead and is now stirring up his armed gangs and hoodlums against government institutions.
The minister said that PTI is not a political party but has turned into an armed gang because a political party always upholds the rule of law and the constitution.
She categorically stated that the sitting government did not want to arrest Imran Khan despite having state power, but only wanted the orders and warrants of the court to be implemented.
She said that Imran Khan, with his poisonous approach, is defying the courts and their orders. She also appealed to the courts to take notice of his defiant attitude.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that police and other law enforcement agencies are unarmed and only enforce the orders of the court. She said that Imran Khan should answer in court for his cases.
She said that 65 policemen have so far been injured due to PTI goons’ terrorism.
The Minister also urged the media to inform the masses about the facts and reality about Imran Khan.
