Google removed more than 6000 Chinese channels on YouTube IV News

SAN FRANCISCO: Google announced in the first quarter of the year that it had deleted 6,000 YouTube channels originating from China. These channels belonged to Dragon Bridge, a Chinese strategic group tasked with expanding Chinese influence around the world. These channels and blogs featured mostly Chinese content on music, entertainment, and lifestyle, along with videos and blogs on US-China relations and foreign affairs in English and Chinese. According to Google, this is not an individual effort, but a systematic group effort. It was also identified as spam by Google’s system many times.
