Singer Aima Baig has issued a legal notice to local media ‘FHM’ Pakistan for publishing fake news about her love and demanded Rs 100 crore.
On Friday, Aima Baig took to her Instagram and shared the photos of the court documents as evidence to show off her huge fan base.
This represents Baig’s anger and self-confidence after facing the “insipid yellow journalism” and allegations against her.
“It is high time that we should stand against yellow journalism and fake news (which is done only for comments and likes). I have had enough, so I stand up for myself and many others from becoming their next prey,” said Baig.
The legal notice reads: “A clear and unbiased listening to the old interview with my client that you refer to in your post/story would reveal beyond a shadow of a doubt that my client never made such a statement as you have attributed to her. It is abundantly clear that you yourself have misused the contents of her interview and distorted it, and willfully and deliberately took it out of context and misapplied it in your damnable work to smear my client’s reputation and reputation.
