Nagpur. The Lakdganj police arrested the thief who stole money from the trunk of a two-wheeler. Yashwant Stadium resident Anup Rajesh Sharma (25) had gone to Radha Swami Satsang Gali of Ganga-Jamuna Complex to buy paan material.

Parked the bike and went to the shop. Meanwhile, Yuvraj Narayan Bhoyar (35), a resident of Dahi Bazar, broke into the trunk of his car and stole Rs 7,000 in cash. On returning home, Anoop came to know about the theft and informed the police. Sub Inspector Yadav immediately reached the spot. The CCTV footage was scanned and Yuvraj, who was roaming in a suspicious condition in the premises itself, was caught. The money was also found on him during the search. The police have arrested him.
