Case filed against Center for objectionable lyrics in Kamal Haasan’s film song
New Delhi : Famous actor-director Kamal Haasan’s Tamil film ‘Vikram’ has created a ruckus. It has been alleged that Kamal Haasan has used objectionable language in his criticism of the central government in the song ‘Pathala Patthala’ from the film ‘Vikram’. For this reason, a case has also been registered against Haasan. The song of the film ‘Vikram’ released on May 12.
Social activist Selvam has demanded the removal of this outraged song. He says that the line of the song ‘Gajjanale Kasile Kallalayum Kasile Kaichal Joram Neraiya Varudhu Thillalangadi Thillale Ondriyathin Thapale Onniyum Illa Ippale Savi Ipo Thirudan Kaila Thillangadi Thillale’ is not appropriate. It means in Hindi – there is no money left in the treasury. At a time when fever and diseases are on the rise. Now there is nothing left because of the mistakes of the Center (Modi government)… the key is now with the thief.
Selvam has filed a case on May 12 in the office of the Commissioner of Police, Chennai. He said that if action is not taken on his complaint, he will approach the Madras High Court and will also demand a stay on the release of the film.
