After 20 days, the police have finally registered a case against an unknown accused who threatened to kill a trader in Santnagari Shegaon and demanded an extortion of 5 lakhs.

Businessman Baban Leeladhar Bhutda (61) was demanded to pay extortion of 5 lakhs from mobile on August 24, 2022. After this, the number two mobile phone threatened to kill him through ‘Whats App’. When Bhutada lodged a complaint with the Shegaon police on August 26, an indictable case was registered.
Meanwhile, a statement was given to the Chief Minister, Home Minister, Collector, Superintendent of Police through Tehsildars on behalf of traders and citizens. After this, on the instructions of the seniors, the city police have registered a case under section 385 of IPC.
