Visiting a madrasa for the first time
New Delhi, September 22: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat visited a mosque in New Delhi on Thursday. For the first time, he went to a madrasa and interacted with the students there. Bhagwat, who visited a mosque on Kasturbha Gandhi Marg, had a meeting with Umar Ahmed Ilyasi, president of the All India Imam Organization. Speaking to reporters after this meeting, Ilyasi described Bhagwat as the ‘Father of the Nation’. He said that he came to the Bhagwat Masjid on their invitation and discussed many issues related to the country’s unity. Moreover, they claim that their DNA is the same and their ways of worshiping God are different. After the meeting at the mosque, Bhagwat visited a local Madrasa along with Ilyasi. An RSS representative who accompanied Bhagwat said that this was the first time Bhagwat had entered a madrasa. Sources in the RSS revealed that Ilyasi used the word “father of the nation” while talking about Bhagwat to the madrasa students, but Bhagwat immediately rejected it.
They explained that Bhagwat made it clear that there is only one father of the nation. Meanwhile, it is known that RSS chief Bhagwat has recently been meeting with many Muslim religious leaders and intellectuals with the aim of promoting religious harmony. MIM president Akbaruddin Owaisi reacted to Bhagwat’s meetings with Muslim religious leaders. Owaisi said that there is nothing wrong with this meeting.
