Vijayawada: Vara Prasad Reddy, Chairman of AP Tourism Development Institute, said that the government is making special efforts to make AP a center for tourism. Speaking to the media on Friday, he said that the international expo was held from September 12 to 15. He said that five hundred companies from all over the world participated in the expo held in London Excel. All the companies have been contacted and explained about the resources and tourism policy in the state. He said that he has talked to national level companies to invest in AP and invest in joint ventures. It was explained that consultation was done to bring the technology of national level to the state.
In a seminar held in London, many companies have come forward to invest in the state’s tourism. He said that 11 big companies like the similar group from Turkey have expressed their reluctance to come to the state. Vara Prasad Reddy said that arrangements are being made to establish it. He said that we are developing tourism in the state by getting investments through PPP method. Vara Prasad Reddy commented that together we will establish tourism areas in AP that are not available in the country.
