The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has busted an attempt to smuggle narcotics in a vehicle with official number plates. If the attempt was not successful, a large amount of drugs was found and three suspects were arrested. According to the ANF spokesman, 264 kg of drugs were found. from a vehicle on Shah Faisal Road in Karachi and three suspects were arrested. Drugs were being smuggled by putting official number plates on the vehicle.In another operation, ANF seized 52 kg of drugs from a car and a pickup truck near Toll Plaza in Punjab’s Muzaffargarh district and arrested two suspects. The drugs were hidden in secret compartments of the vehicle. During an operation at Rawalpindi Car Chowk, the accused was arrested and 140 drug tablets were recovered from his possession, while his accomplice was also arrested from Lashari village to identify the accused. According to the spokesman, the arrested accused were involved in the sale of drugs. ANF has also recovered 1846 liters of chemical material hidden in a ditch near Old Chaman area. According to the spokesman, cases have been registered under the Narcotics Act against the suspects arrested in the operations.
