The Islamabad District and Sessions Court rejected an application to quash the non-bailable arrest warrant of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.

The defense has claimed that to some extent the issuance of a warrant in the private prosecutor has been prevented. The court should quash the arrest warrant against Imran Khan.

The lawyers took the position that it was a private complaint against Imran Khan which was filed under the Election Act. Previously, non-bailable arrest warrants have not been issued as a result of such applications. If Imran Khan agrees to appear in court, the police cannot arrest him.

Ali Bukhari said that Imran Khan is in Zaman Park and wants to be told how to appear in court. Imran Khan always implemented the decisions of the judiciary.

Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal said Imran Khan’s lawyers had already said on the morning of February 28 that he would not appear. You may also approach Islamabad High Court to quash warrant.

On this, Qaiser Imam said that Sessions wanted to approach the court for annulment of Imran Khan’s order. They do not want to appeal to the Supreme Court about the legality of the Sessions Court.

After the arguments were over, the court reserved its decision on the petition filed by Imran Khan. Later, the court gave a safe verdict and rejected the plea to quash the order while upholding Imran Khan’s arrest warrant.

A court in Islamabad has summoned Imran Khan tomorrow in this case.

However, Imran Khan’s lawyer says he will challenge the court’s decision in the Islamabad High Court.

It is understood that on February 28, a court in Islamabad issued a non-bailable arrest warrant in the Tosha Khana case against Imran Khan.

Additional District Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal while giving a safe verdict said that we waited for Imran Khan till half past three but he did not turn up, so we have issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against him.

The court had directed the police to arrest Imran Khan by March 7 and produce him in court.
