Officials of Jauhar Smriti Sansthan give details about Jauhar Shradhanjan Mela.
The Jauhar Honor Ceremony will be held from March 16 to honor the heroines who performed Jauhar in the fort to protect self-respect and chastity. Many programs will be held here for three days. During this religious leader Shri Shri 1008 Mahant Pratappuri Maharaj from Barmer and religious leader Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kushalgiri Maharaj from Nagaur will come.
Apart from this, Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh Patron Bhagwan Singh Rollsahbasar, Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, former Punjab Governor BP Singh and many big leaders of the country will come to Chittorgarh as guests. Chittorgarh MLA presented 10 lakh rupees to the organization and took responsibility for arrangements and food arrangements for this programme.
A 3-day program will be offered
Chief Secretary Tejpal Singh Shaktawat said that the programs would be organized from March 16 to March 18. The Jauhar statue will be kept in the procession which will reach Durgaraj through the main roads of the city. There will be a memorial service of the martyrs at 11 a.m. The Yagya will be held at 11:30 a.m. and the main felicitation ceremony will be held at 12:15 p.m. The main felicitation ceremony will be held at the Fateh Prakash Mahal complex.
Not a dance troupe and a music band come from Marwar
He said that this time a huge procession will be taken out which will start from Gopal Rajput Hostel and reach Jauhar Sthal through Collectorate Purani Pulia, Subhash Chowk, Gol Pyau, Mithai Bazar, Padan Pol.
